About
Hello, I'm Aishwarya Kalra. I've been working as a psychologist since January 2020. I hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and I am a life member of the Counsellors Council of India (CRN8076174). I am based in Pune, and I practice in both online and offline setups.
I help individuals, couples, and families navigate their way through life's many challenges. I support my clients by assisting them on their journey of self-discovery and restoration. I have helped clients with various mental health concerns; general life problems; work life issues; relationship concerns; childhood trauma; emotional distress; and self-harm; etc. I am a queer affirmative therapist and strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for all individuals.
I am a certified cognitive behavioral therapist. I prefer to follow an eclectic approach, which helps me cater to the needs of my clients. I am also trained in trauma and grief care. The most recent addition to my knowledge base has been the study of childhood trauma and the practice of inner child healing. I am committed to the wellbeing of my clients. This motivates me to continually learn more about mental health and related concerns.
As an individual and a mental health professional, I can say that therapy is for everyone. We all feel stuck sometimes in life. Due to the stigma associated, we may hesitate to approach a counselor. To normalize seeking help and to reduce the stigma associated with mental health, I have developed a social media presence under the name Nourishing Mind. Albert Schweitzer once said, "The purpose of human life is to serve, and to show compassion and the will to help others." I try my best to live by these words.
