About

I am Anurag (they/them), a queer-affirmative and queer counselling psychologist based in Bangalore. I believe that each one of us is capable of overcoming our hurdles with non-judgmental support from a professional, and that every human journey is unique, requiring different therapeutic approaches in order to lead a happier, content, and meaningful life. I’m passionate about normalising mental healthcare access and I believe that everybody, regardless of their mental and emotional states, should opt for therapy.

I have been in practice for over two years working with young adults on different challenges. I am comfortable with English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada, in that order. In my practice, I operate from social-justice and strength-building lenses and it is informed by queer-affirmative, anti-caste, intersectional feminist, and sex-positive stances.
