Thrice I have interned at Healers Psychiatry Centre, Delhi, under the Psychologist Dr. Esha Manchanda, where I gained practical experience of psychological assessments and carried out assessments, accompanied by my mentor during CBT sessions. I learned history taking and also observed and gained knowledge about progressive relaxation. I was also a part of the Sri Aurobindo Society Project in which Ghaziabad Primary School students were psychologically assessed.

In addition to this,I interned with Psychiatrist Dr. Harish Shetty at The Hiranandani Hospital and Mental Health Lounge, Mumbai. I got hands on experience of history taking, CBT, mental status examination, and counseling patients with depression, anxiety and other psychotic disorders.

Further I interned in an NGO “ Make Love Not Scars” for acid attack survivors/victims. Here I counseled the victims helping them to overcome their current state of depression by focusing on the positive aspects of their lives and identifying professional opportunities for them to work upon and move ahead in their life.
