About

I am extremely passionate about the work I do in counselling. I have more than 10 years of experience in total which includes my corporate experience in Human resources, training & now in counselling. Living in different places in India and Singapore, has given me a multi-cultural outlook to work with clients of different nationalities.

I have been awarded as one of Bark's top counsellor in Singapore in 2020 and 2021.

Previously, I have interned at Touch Youth Intervention where I have worked with youths and parents. Issues were ranging from cyber addictions, gaming and other behavioural issues faced by teens. I have also facilitated mental health workshops in local schools in Singapore to promote mental health awareness.

I have also volunteered at Children’s society of Singapore where I have supported the helpline and provided emotional support to children. Also volunteered at HOME shelter where I have done counselling for domestic workers.

Currently I work with adolescents and adults who present issues with inter personal relationships, behavioural, anger, stress, anxiety, grief, depression, specific phobias, attachment wounds or any other mental health difficulties. Apart from this I work with couples as well with marital issues, conflict management and other couple related issues.
I use an integrative approach grounded in person-centred therapy (PCT), I draw from evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, SFBT, Mindfulness-Based Approaches and DBT.

I view each client’s issues as unique and diverse and tailor make to meet their specific needs. My belief is giving my clients a safe space where don’t feel judged. I believe in empathy and compassion as my core values and translate the same in my practice. I am truly passionate about helping individuals to find their true selves and embrace themselves fully and realize their full potential.

I have a Master of Counselling degree from Monash University, Postgraduate diploma in counselling Psychology from CAE Singapore and Masters of Business Administration.

Besides this I have obtained various certifications to be updated in my professional practice which includes,
