About

Post my training in Singapore, I worked in the field of mental health and education for over 6 years. I have an eclectic approach towards counselling and design my intervention based on client needs. Personally I'm drawn towards Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which has a values component to it along with a lovely amalgamation of CBT techniques, mindfulness.

Owing to the lack of awareness about the counselling process, I provide an initial phone consult. This call is for me to gauge whether my client's issues are within my scope of practice and also for the client to gauge their level of comfort with me. I put in a lot of effort to ensure that my clients receive the maximum benefit of therapy. Post every session, they will receive an email with reflection prompts until their next session. I ensure that my clients have a meaningful takeaway with them after every session.

I'm here to listen. I'm here to support.
