About
I am the founder and lead psychologist at Altheia Psychological Centre, with over five years of professional experience in the field. I specialize in supporting survivors of trauma and abuse, with a particular focus on individuals affected by sexual abuse and domestic violence. My approach is trauma-informed, empathetic, and centered on creating a safe and empowering space for healing.
I am an LGBTQ-affirmative practitioner and have extensive experience working with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, and related concerns. I also work with psychosexual issues across all genders, offering an inclusive and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
I hold academic qualifications in Psychology, Sociology, and Rehabilitation Science, along with a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Psychology. My clinical experience includes working alongside a psychiatrist in a clinical setting, where I gained exposure to a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including psychotic disorders, under supervision.
Through Altheia Psychological Centre, I have built a growing and trusted practice with a high client retention rate. In addition to individual therapy, I conduct workshops, facilitate group therapy sessions, and serve as a guest lecturer at various colleges, contributing to mental health awareness and education.
My work is guided by a commitment to ethical practice, inclusivity, and supporting individuals toward meaningful and change.
