About

We can help you find your way out of emotional disturbances, overcome mental health challenges, and guide you towards a more empowered, enabled, rational mind.

Swati is a trained REBT Counsellor and ABT Practitioner. Her competency is in scientific and evidence-based methods of counselling, mental health coaching, and therapy techniques, all aimed towards realization of emotional and practical goals, good mental health, and happiness.

Jeff is a communication specialist and web designer, as well as a devotee of REBT. Swati and Jeff conceived of Mindscapes as a therapy practice accessible to those who may not have otherwise considered therapy as a solution. Jeff is a co-founder and handles the technology, social marketing and strategic aspects of the practice.

We offer one-on-one counselling, coaching, and therapy with the intent to empower our clients to make helpful changes in life approach, and use tools and techniques to work on their mental /emotional challenges, thus enabling them to work on maintaining good mental health now, and in the long run.

Through the use of REBT, we support our clients in their resolve to overcome (and make manageable) issues that cause:

Distress (depression, anxiety, phobia, panic, obsession-compulsions, trauma, grief)

  1. Disturbances (interpersonal issues related to family, pre-marital counselling, marital counselling, post-partum issues, other relationship issues, Other issues like guilt, anger, hurt, shyness, and other challenges)

  2. Development (Coaching towards robust mental well-being, mindfulness, training the mind through meditation, building a life approach and philosophy towards rational thinking, better communication, better interpersonal skills; and empowerment towards resolving one's emotional disturbances, and even to some extent, mental distress)

Group Therapy

We offer group interventions in the form of Arts-Based Therapy for Institutions such as hospitals and schools, Social sector such as Childrens' homes, as well as Corporates.

Arts-Based Therapy is an evidence-based, goal-directed therapeutic approach that involves the use of various art methods to resolve mental/ emotional issues. It is different from art therapy.

Arts-Based Therapy is particularly used to facilitate subtle shifts thus helping with disturbances which are suppressed and cannot be easily vocalized, and where cognitive abilities are compromised. It is a strong tool for helping beneficiaries and employees reveal, deal, manage and heal, becoming better versions of themselves overall.

Meditation and Mindfulness Coaching

Fitness does not only mean exercising. Fitness includes mental health and strengthening the mind is as important as building muscle and stamina of the body. Detaching the various confusing versions and connotations that meditation carries with it, we train and coach in techniques which are user-friendly, and lead our clients towards a stronger mind and better focus, attention and emotional regulation. Through the practice of meditation, we learn to incorporate mindful living, which is highly beneficial in order to bring about "happy living".
