About
I have started my career in counselling as an intern and my skills lie in helping college and school students deal with stress, social pressure, and with frustrating situations. I have also achieved success in helping students gain their self-esteem by reviewing their past success, so that they can easily garner the strength of their future aspirations.
I have also worked as a School Counsellor in multiple schools across Bangalore where I have assessed the student's emotional and behavioural problem, provided counselling to help the student address their problems, referred the student to other professionals, as needed and partnered with teachers and/or family members to assist the student with their problem. I have also conducted various workshops on Mental Health Issues in schools and colleges for both teachers and students.
I am currently pursuing my PhD in Psychology from JAIN University and am very passionate about Films andthe use of Films in Individaual Counsellng with adolescents and adults alike.
