About
Hello, I am Kajal Tyagi. I am a person-centered, trauma-informed therapist. I have an integrative approach mainly grounded in existential psychotherapy, deriving from psychodynamic, family systems, and cognitive behavior therapy.
My interest in psychology stems from my struggle as a human and thirst for meaning. I have a passion for helping people and being a witness to change and growth. I tend to go inward to re-energize myself, and I highly value personal development. I am also an advocate of mindfulness and a grateful outlook for living a healthy, fulfilled life. In my downtime, I enjoy reading philosophy and expressive writing. My work as a psychotherapist allows me to fulfill many of my personal and existential needs.
Psychotherapy for me is a beautiful collaborative effort of both client and the therapist to come together on a journey of personal as well as mutual reflection, and introspection.
