About
I would like to introduce myself as a passionate special educator and who loves working with children. Working with children with special needs (Autism and learning Disabilities) for the last 10 years has taught me that each child has an ability to learn, and it is our responsibility, as grown-up individuals, to teach each one of them according to their individual needs.
While, my expertise lies in Remedial teaching, Individual education planning, psychological assessments, and curriculum development, I also enjoy writing and traveling.
Before getting into special education, I was working as a lecturer in Psychology at Diana Nursing College (Bangalore). I have worked as a Special Educator in Step By Step School Noida for the last 5 years. Besides having a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Bangalore University, I also did a Diploma in Family Counseling, a specialization in Family Counseling and a certification course in Autism Spectrum disorders from UC Davis University.
Learning and exploring in the field of Autism has always kept me busy. Currently, I am working as a Special Educator and Counsellor in Victorious kidss Educares an IB School. In addition to this, I am also pursuing a course in Play therapy.
