About
Ms. Richa is a licensed M.Phil Clinical Psychologist, Registered with the Rehabilitation Council Of India. She is trained and qualified in working with individuals across all age groups (Child, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric) with a multitude of psychological problems such as Insomnia, Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Interpersonal Conflicts, Marital Problems, Substance dependence, Stress Management, ADHD, Learning difficulty, Autism etc. She is also trained to provide shorter counseling services for less severe difficulties to help clients cope effectively with their difficulties. Dr. Richa practices from a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) and Psychodynamic approach, tailoring multiple intervention strategies to effectively treat the problems experienced by her clients.
Ms. Richa has been a Gold Medalist, having done her B.A in Psychology from Lady Shri Ram College for Women (2014), M.A in Clinical Psychology from Ambedkar University, New Delhi (2016) and M.Phil from Rehabilitation Council of India (2019). She has played an active role in clinical research and has been awarded the prestigious “excellence in Clinical Research” award and has also qualified the Indian National Eligibility Test (NET) in Psychology. During her clinical training, she has been associated with multiple hospitals like AIIMS (New Delhi), Deen Dayal Upadhyay (New Delhi), NIMHANS (Bangalore) and Air Force Central Medical Establishment (New Delhi), with over 4 years of clinical experience. She believes that each individual has an inherent strength and ability to cope with difficulties which, with appropriate guidance and facilitation, can go a long way in building resilience and fostering personal growth.
