About

My approach to therapy is the meeting of Narrative practices, Buddhist psychology and Experiential education. With Nature as my co-therapist, I enjoy facilitating therapeutic outdoor adventures as a way for people to know and experience themselves in new and different ways.
I believe that people are the experts in their own lives, and that my role as a therapist is to collaborate with them in identifying skills, competencies, hopes, beliefs, values, commitments and abilities that will assist them to reduce the influence of the problem in their lives.
I offer 1 on 1 walk-and-talk therapy sessions in public parks and green spaces in 4 locations in Pune: Pune University, Koregaon Park, Baner and Pashan.
I also lead Forest Healing walks for groups and conduct Mental Health Listening Circles. I strongly believe in the magical, healing power of Community.
I am passionate about working with adolescents and young adults in the following areas:
- Social-emotional issues
- Managing stress and psychosomatic health related issues
- Work related stress and career guidance
- Challenges with managing substance use and relationship with food
- Family issues - I specialise in working with children/teens of troubled, separated or divorced parents
- Relationship issues - I am especially interested in helping people to build a healthy relationship with themselves so that they can individuate and be well adjusted in intimate relationships, healing and moving on from childhood experiences so that one does not carry forward dysfunctional patterns into relationships

* [I would like to highlight that my therapy practice is disability-informed and inclusive and I am experienced with taking people with physical disabilities (Blindness/visually impairment, hearing impairment, spinal cord injury, orthopaedic challenges, amputees...) on outdoor adventures. I am especially passionate about working with the PWD community so please do reach out and let’s have a conversation about what’s possible!] :)
