About

Hello!

My name is Megha Datta and I'm a counselling psychologist and an UNESCO-CID certified Dance/movement therapist (license no. 24589).

From a very young age I had a curiousity for human interactions and processes; understanding how it is the way it is. Having gone through a sereies of personal obstacles and growth, I figured that this was a space that I would want to explore. I have done my Masters in Psychology (Psychosocial clinical studies) from Delhi.

Expressive arts came into my life when I was myself looking for expression. I was putting together the two things that I loved, and the marriage was beautiful.  My experience of going through an emotionally-charged and overwhelming environment made me understand my own self and individuality. The arts and movement therapy have the power that is so magnanimous that it brings about chaos, clarity and introspection.

I believe that everyone should make emotional and mental health a priority just as they make physical health.
