Responsibilities

1. Undertake assessments, including assessment of mental health needs, risk assessment and psychometric testing.
2. Formulate a psychological explanation of the client's issues.
3. Establish a collaborative working relationship with the client based on trust and respect
4. plan and implement specialist psychological treatments.
5. Monitor and evaluate the outcome of treatments.
6. Collaborate with - and provide advice to - colleagues, the broader multidisciplinary team and referrers in the planning of treatment and provision of services to meet the client's needs.
7. Communicate complex, technical and/or clinically sensitive information clearly, both orally and in writing, to clients, their families and carers.
8. Contribute to research, service evaluation and audit, either individually or as part of a team.
9. Receive regular clinical and professional supervision from a more senior psychologist.
10. Carry out continuing personal and professional development to keep your knowledge and skills up to date.

 Usage

 Transactional Analysis,

Based on these assessments, will then create a bespoke therapy plan for the individual service user.
