About

I am a special educator, art-based therapist, and counselor based in Chennai. My background includes rehabilitating individuals with various disabilities, ranging from severe to profound, as well as addressing psychosocial disabilities and mental well-being. For nearly five years, I worked in remote areas of the country, collaborating with local government bodies and educational institutions to advance inclusion and equity. I then focused on international curricula, making curricular modifications and adaptations for students with multiple disabilities, teaching them the content, and conducting alternative assessments. Currently, I serve as a Learning Support professional at an American Embassy-recognized school in Chennai, where I support students with disabilities and learning differences in their holistic development. Additionally, I am a qualified counselor utilizing art-based techniques to promote mental health for individuals from elementary through middle adulthood.
